Prospective Undergraduate Research Assistants
Thank you for your interest in joining the Multilingualism and Decision-Making (MDL) Lab!
The Multilingualism and Decision-Making Lab is dedicated to understanding the relationship between thinking, decision-making, negotiation, and communication. Our recent research has focused on how bilingualism, modality, and framing affect how we think and make decisions.
As an undergraduate research assistant, you will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in lab meetings, where you will be exposed to and discuss the latest research in the lab.
- Collaborate with graduate students and other research assistants to pursue interesting research questions.
- Engage in open science, promoting transparency, replicability, and accessibility in research and practice.
- Assist with creating researchable questions, study design, stimuli creation data collection, data coding, and statistical analysis.
- Develop leadership and communication skills that are valuable in any career path.
We encourage you to fill out an application to be placed on our interest list. Feel free to reach out to us at thelabmanager@gmail.com if you have any questions.
